What is GallantSentry™?
GallantSentry is a proprietary anti-virus service provided through the GallantWEB. It provides email screening and cleaning service before it reaches the recipient in order to protect the recipient from virus infections.

Unlike some server based anti-virus email scan with a single software, GallantSentry utilizes multiple softwares simultaneously.

How does GallantSentry™ work?
The GallantSentry works in a way that is invisible to the subscribers by redirecting all incoming email through a series of anti-virus servers hosted on Gallantry's NOC (Network Operating Center). Safe and cleaned emails are then delivered to the recipients. Once a virus is caught, our anti-virus software cleans or contains the virus and a notice is sent to both the sender and recipient of the infected email.

What anti-virus software are used by GallantSentry™?
The anti-virus software used by GallantSentry includes Trend Micro's Interscan Viruswall, McAfee's VirusScan and Symantec's Norton Anti-Virus for Gateway.

All the anti-virus softwares used by GallantSentry are updated on an hourly basis or upon a virus outbreak based on the software providers protocols. Gallantry relies on the leading anti-virus software providers for these updates.
