What is DNS?
DNS is the abbreviation for Domain Name Service. DNS is a directory service that forms the basis of the World Wide Web. The basic function of DNS is to translate a Domain Name (such as yahoo.com) to a designated IP address.
For each domain name, a DNS service is required to be hosted by two separate DNS servers running on two independent and permanent Internet connections with fixed IP addresses.

Your domain name can be hosted at your local Internet Service Provider, your local registrars or by your own DNS server provided it satisfies the DNS hosting requirements.

Yes, the GallantWEB is designed to host DNS service either as Primary or Secondary DNS server for any domain name provided that the GallantWEB is running on a permanent Internet connection with a fixed IP Address.
